The Sound Stage definition of ‘being respectful’ is as follows:
Using helpful hands
*clean up
*take good care of books
*give hugs
*help friends and teachers
*push in chairs
*washing hands

Not hurting yourself or friends
Use listening ears
Say please, thank you, excuse me, and you’re welcome
Make eye contact when speaking and listening
Taking good care of classroom materials
Using your bodies appropriately on the furniture and with the curtains and in the kitchen
Following directions
Being quiet during naptime while others are sleeping
Belonging to the classroom community
Accepting that rules are there to keep us safe
